Chaz Mostert and Ryan Wood claim the front row for Race 9
In what was an exciting qualifying session for Race 9 of the Supercars championship, Walkinshaw Andretti United have taken out 1st and 2nd on the grid for this afternoons race.
Chaz Mostert adding another pole position to his resume, made extra special by starting alongside rookie teammate Wood.
Tickfords Cam Waters secures a Ford top 3 while Red Bull Ampol's Will Brown qualified 4th, with his teammate Broc Feeney right behind in 5th.
It was a tough day for the hometown heroes, with reigning champion Brodie Kostecki qualifying 14th and Aaron Love setting a lap only good enough for 22nd. At a circuit where over 70% of the races have been won from the front row, a West Aussie victory will be a difficult task.
