Kai Allen heads an Eggelston 1-2
Kai Allen has won the first Dunlop Series race of the weekend in dominant fashion, getting a fantastic jump at the start and never looking back as he made his way to 150 points at the end of 36 laps.
It looked for a while that his teammate Cooper Murray could threaten for the lead but Allen kept his composure and kept Murray behind, even on a safety car restart.
It wasn't the same fairytale ending for the team at Kelly Racing however, with Mason Kelly taking a trip through the gravel in turn 1 around the midway point of the race. But that wasn't the worst of it as he would later come together with a spinning Callum Walker, a collision that would put both drivers out of contention.

Super 2 return tomorrow for their final race of the weekend
